Meredith Saucier

Pronouns: she / herAs Director of Partnerships at Purpose, Meredith helps to build partnerships that tap public mobilization and storytelling to foster political and social impact.
Prior to joining Purpose, Meredith developed cross-cultural exchange and education programs at the Institute of International Education. She specialized in designing initiatives in the Middle East and North Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa, such as Harnessing Innovation through Virtual Exchange (HIVE) which links students in Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco, and Palestine with their U.S. peers to explore STEM subjects. She is most proud of her work developing PEER, an online hub that connects displaced Syrian students to scholarships, online education, and language learning resources.
Meredith has consulted with Qatar Foundation International and volunteered with several human rights organizations in Morocco. She was a Program and Research Fellow for the Nanubhai Education Foundation in India where she helped design a scholarship program and researched the role of schools in the wake of communal violence.
In her free time, Meredith loves walking around Prospect Park, collecting old things for a future antique store, and taking many weeks to finish puzzles. She has her BFA from the School of Visual Arts and MA from Columbia University.
