Mallika is a Campaign Manager at Purpose. With over 8 years of work experience, Mallika’s interests and experiences span across issues and geographies. Having studied and worked in India, Australia and Thailand, she has the ability to view situations from multiple lenses, allowing her work seamlessly on complex issues. Her leadership skills are an extension of the 15+ years she spent playing various sports at the state and national level.

Over the last 4+ years at Purpose she has worked on building movements across geographies and issue areas. From working on air pollution, to sexual and reproductive health, to Covid19 related misinformation and vaccination uptake campaigns to sustainable mobility, she has leveraged art, culture and the power of community mobilisation to increase the participation of diverse populations in advocacy efforts. Mallika’s dedication to social impact is evident in her strategic approach to campaign management, where she seamlessly integrates her passion for environmental issues, public health, and community engagement. Her multifaceted experience reflects a commitment to driving positive change and fostering inclusive dialogue on critical global and national issues.

Mallika loves reading, aerial yoga, and sipping endless cups of tea and can often be found peeping into dustbins to analyse the waste and understand how it can be reduced!
