A Once-in-a-Generation Opportunity

Here Now, the climate movement accelerator incubated by Purpose, has joined a coalition of partners, including Save the Children, Global Poverty Project, One, and Avaaz to host a series of global events on September 24th to drive awareness to the United Nations’ Global Goals (focused on poverty, inequality, and climate change) being announced on September 25th at the General Assembly. There will be a total of 150 events across 70 countries, starting in Sydney and culminating in NYC.  

The unified theme of all events is “Under One Sky,” using celestial imagery to remind us of our global responsibility and incorporating some creative display of light, which aims to send a clear and united message to world leaders: we won’t settle for fine words and we’ll be shining a light on you every step of the way.
