Everytown for Gun Safety and Purpose Win a Fast Company Innovation By Design Award
October 15, 2014
Fast Company recently hosted its annual Innovation By Design Awards and Conference in New York City, culminating in an evening awards celebration to recognize the best designs of the year. 1,587 submissions were narrowed to 53 finalists and then 10 winners were selected. Purpose and Everytown took home the award for best design innovation in the graphic category.
Here is what Fast Company had to say about it: “Purpose and Everytown, an advocacy group with more than two million members, visualized disturbing statistics in a powerful anti-gun violence campaign. Judges were pulled by the overarching feeling and theme that it communicated, and saw Everytown for Gun Safety as an effective amalgamation of storytelling, marketing, branding, and packaging to capture the emotional impact of an important public safety matter.”
The Purpose team is proud of this exciting recognition and humbled to work with the Everytown team.
